    Default 1/4 Times

    Hey there,

I was just wondering if anyone has taken their AWD's down to the drag strip and what times did they run?

See my sig for exact details.
18" rims would slow it a little. Must try with factory rims next time

What did you have the tiptronic on? Yeah definately have to give it a go without the 18"s

I used the tiptronic in all ways - D, fully manual, and what I think worked best was D for the 1-2 shift, then manually select 3rd and 4th at about 6,000rpm (ie a bit short of redline).

None of it made much difference, except that manually selecting 2nd was sometimes a bit hit & miss due to the delay in shifting = bouncing off rev limiter or shifting a little too early.
All up, I'd say there's no more than 0.05 seconds between full auto and full manual in my car.
